'Tis the Season... to be thankful.
‘Tis the season to be jolly, but at this time of year, and this year in particular, we also like to be thankful. Thankful for another year delivering equipment that’s vital to the nation’s healthcare. Thankful to our clients and the hospitals we work with for their loyalty and appreciation. Thankful that we could play a small part in the fight against a pandemic the likes of which none of us have ever seen. Most of all, we’re thankful for the Dynamic team who make it all possible.
What makes us give everything we’ve got? Well, it’s because we love what we do. In December, we’ve been asking some members of the team what means most to them about their work.
Dynamic’s General Manager Michael kicked things off, summing up all of our feelings on the importance of medical logistics and how essential it is to be dedicated. As always, the patient who benefits in the end is at the heart of what we do.
"I love knowing that we make a difference to people’s lives. We understand the importance of collecting medical equipment with care, and ensuring it gets back to the customer as planned so that another operation can go ahead successfully. I know we are a small cog in the wheel but it brings me so much joy to know we care and always put the patient first."
Next up, we asked Michele what keeps things interesting. She’s a big customer favourite here – we’re always receiving outstanding feedback about her service and friendly manner on the phone. Now we’re delighted to put a face to the voice!
Craig, our Sameday Fleet Liaison Officer, has an extremely important role within Dynamic – often having to think quickly and make important decisions to ensure equipment is picked up and arrives at hospitals in plenty of time to ensure procedures can take place as planned. That responsibilty may be daunting to some, but he thrives on it…
"I love the sense of responsibility that operating the sameday fleet gives. Getting an urgent sameday delivery distributed on time with our incredible drivers and delivered into the hospital on a tight deadline feels rewarding. It's nice to know we're having a positive effect on a patient’s personal life."
You’ll also notice Ziggy in the picture, who loves all the attention and treats – but don’t we all?!
On a final note, we learned a lot from Graham, our Medical Service Specialist. The year 2020 threw a lot at us, but probably the hardest punch to roll with was being isolated from our friends, family and colleagues. This was harder for some than others, but we all felt it in some way. What did Graham do? He kept himself amused and, in turn, made us all laugh.
Check out some highlights from his lone working outfits below – we’re sure they will give you a smile, which is what we all want and need this Christmas.
Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year,
from your dedicated Dynamic team.
